While we are deeply grateful for your support, please note that the Grand Island Lions is a 501(c)(4) organization. Under IRS rules, contributions are not tax deductible. However, 100% of your donation goes directly back into the community to support humanitarian service projects. Exciting News for the Future of Grand Island Lions Service

As of May 13, 2026, we are proud to announce that we have begun the process of establishing the Grand Island Lions Foundation as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Once we receive the necessary approvals from the Internal Revenue Service and New York State, this designation will significantly expand our ability to serve our community. It will enable us to pursue private-sector grants and other funding opportunities, providing additional resources for community service projects and charitable initiatives.

The Foundation will also be able to accept a wider variety of charitable contributions, including cash gifts, securities, planned gifts, endowments, and legacy donations. Donors will have the opportunity to help create a lasting impact by directing how their gifts are used to support future generations and causes that matter most to them.

This is an important step toward building a stronger, more sustainable future for the Grand Island Lions and the community we proudly serve. None of this would be possible without the dedication, generosity, and support of our members, donors, and friends.
