The Grand Island Lions collect used eyeglasses and hearing aids to help individuals in need of sight or hearing correction all over the world.  We can use any complete pair of pescription and non-prescription eyeglasses including sunglasses and readers. Eyeglass cases in good condition are also accepted.  Hearing aid supplies such as non-expired batteries and earwax guards are accepted.  

Collection boxes can be found at Town Hall, Grand Island Optical, Trinity United Methodist Church, Golden Age Center, Grand Island Memorial Library, Elderwood Care, Howard Hanna Real Estate Services and Better Smiles.  And in case you forget these locations, you can drop off the eyeware (no hearing aids) at any Walmart Store Optical Department.
