Regular and board meeting
March 25, 2026
6:30 PM
$2.00
Howard Hanna Realty, 2139 Grand Island Blvd., Grand Island, NY (use rear entrance)
At the Grand Island Lions Club, our Regular and Board Meetings are where service begins and community impact takes shape. Our Regular Meeting brings members together in fellowship to share updates on ongoing projects — from our Spaghetti Dinner in April to our clothing drives and vision initiatives to youth programs and community partnerships. It’s a time to celebrate successes, welcome new ideas, and ensure every Lion has a voice in how we serve Grand Island. Our Board Meeting provides focused leadership and stewardship. Here, we review budgets, evaluate project proposals, discuss fundraising strategies such as the grants for Lucas devices for our hometown fire company, obtaining an AED for Veteran's Park, and our Kids Picnic in July, all ensuring our charitable dollars are used responsibly and effectively. Careful planning and thoughtful decision-making allow us to continue supporting local needs while maintaining the strong legacy of service the Grand Island Lions are known for. Together, these meetings reflect who we are: neighbors serving neighbors, committed to improving lives right here in our community and around the world.
