Greetings from our 2019-2020 Club President
"One goal this year is to bring some "FUN" into the club. I initiated this by hosting a Pre-Stampede Interclub Party on July 4 to both gear up for the Calgary Stampede and welcome Lions Keith and Ann Perry from our international twin lion club in Australia (OZ to locals) . During my year I want to strive for more involvement of all club members.

Check your monthly calendar for all upcoming events.  Three to remember are Exchange Student Night (October 28), CLERC Volunteer Workshop (November 9), and CNHLC Christmas Party (December 9).
There are always opportunities for volunteering such as at the BowWest Community Resource Centre Food Bank, Minus 1 Bartending, Meals On Wheels, and Stampeders BBQ.  Please reach out to the co-ordinator or me to volunteer.

Our Lions motto "We Serve" is only achieved by all members contributing to club activities."

Yours in Lionism
Lion President Ken
