Spectacle Recycling

The issue of sight has been a major theme since the earliest days of Lions Clubs and Lions are engaged in many initiatives around the world to help treat or prevent blindness and other sight problems. As part of these initiatives, Wirral Lions collect used spectacles for recycling at various points around the Wirral. These are sent, on a regular basis, to a central UK collection point where Lions sort and package the spectacles and send them to the third world for use as part of Lions’ programmes to help people with sight problems.

You can recycle your old spectacles at any of the following points:
