Tamworth will be a busy place on Sunday November 24th, 2024.

At 1:00 the Tamworth Legion are presenting their annual Santa Claus Parade, followed by a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Tamworth Legion.  Families can take a photo or two with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, and children can decorate their own Christmas cookie!

Also at the Legion the Tamworth & District Lions Club will be hosting their 'kids only' Santa Store.  Santas elves will help children write out their gift tags, shop and wrap their gifts.  Children are reminded to bring their shopping list, shopping bag, and a suggested donation of a minimum $4.00 per gift. 

Out front of the Legion the Lions will also be holding a "Take Home Christmas Cookie Decorating Kit" sale.  Each kit contains a selection of Christmas cookies, icing and sprinkles.  A small kit is $12.00 and large kit is $25.00. 

The Lions will also be selling beautifully handcrafted wooden snowmen and Christmas trees.  They are priced from $15.00 - $30.00 and are a great gift, or addition to your porch or mantle decorating.  We will be accepting cash or e-transfers to TamworthLionsClub@hotmail.com  at Santa's Store and the cookie, tree and snowman sale.  Please use "Christmas" as your password.
