EACH YEAR THE CLUB HONORS LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO HAVE ACHIEVED ACADEMIC AND SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND LIVE IN THE PLAINFIELD AREA.  HERE ARE THE 2025 - 2026 STUDENTS THE CLUB HAS HONORED

JANUARY 2026

RILEE STEWART

Rilee Stewart was honored as the January Student of the Month.  Rilee is a senior at Big Spring High School.  She belongs to the Tempus Leo Club at the high school.  She is also a member of the Big Spring softball team, where she pitches and plays first base for a team that qualified for district playoffs last season.  Outside of school during the summer, Rilee plays for a softball team that travels for numerous tournaments.  Rilee plans to attend Penn State – Brandywine campus and major in English.  She also hopes to play for the softball team while there.  Rilee is the daughter of Beth and Drew Stewart and has an older brother, Levi. 

DECEMBER 2025

ZOEY PETERS

Zoey Peters was honored as the December Student of the Month. Zoey is a senior at Big Spring High School. She is a member of the Tempus/Leo Club and with the Dawg Design club. She serves as a mentor to other students in the district. Outside of school, she works as a waitress at the Dickinson Family Diner and interns with Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate, both in Carlisle. She also likes to hang out with her friends. After graduating from high school, Zoey will decide whether to pursue a career as a Real Estate agent or as a Psychology Forensic Scientist. Zoey is the daughter of Sam and Renee Peters, and has a brother Seth.

NOVEMBER 2025

MARIA TANDLE

Maria Tandle was honored as the November Student of the Month.  Maria is a senior at Big Spring High School.  Her school activities include being a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society), the Science Honors Society and the Hispanic Honors Society.  Maria just completed her high school season for field hockey, where her team qualified for the District 3 playoffs.  She is a member of the high school basketball team and competes in track and field during the spring.  Maria is currently interning at the Big Spring Business Office and is a mentor for Bulldog Mentoring.  Outside of school, Maria volunteers her time for youth field hockey and youth basketball and is a PIAA basketball official.  Maria plans to attend a 4-year university to obtain a degree and/or MBA in either finance and/or accounting.  Maria is the daughter of Brian and Sarah Tandle and has 2 younger brothers in Jackson and Ben.

OCTOBER 2025

EVELYN NERICCIO

Evelyn Nericcio was honored as the October Student of the Month.  Evelyn is a senior at Trinity High School.  Evelyn is the Drum Major and Guard Captain for Trinity’s marching band.  She is a harpist in Trinity’s musical pit orchestra.  She is also a group leader and mentor for approximately 18 students.  Her current grade point average is well over 4.0.  Outside of school, Evelyn is a harpist for the Harrisburg Harp Orchestra and a member of the Girl Scouts.  She has not settled on a college as yet but would like to major in Entertainment Engineering.  Therefore, she is looking at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Point Park University in Pittsburgh and the University of Connecticut.  Her dream job would be to become an Imagineer at Disney working in animatronics and robotics.  Evelyn then graced the club by playing 3 selections on her harp.  Evelyn is the daughter of Stephanie and Mike Nericcio and is the granddaughter of Plainfield Lions Susie and Stanley Dye.
