EACH YEAR THE CLUB HONORS BIG SPRING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO HAVE ACHIEVED ACADEMIC AND SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND LIVE IN THE PLAINFIELD AREA.  HERE ARE THE 2024 - 2025 STUDENTS THE CLUB HAS HONORED

JANUARY 2025

Maslynn Enck was introduced as the January Student of the Month.  Maslynn is a senior at Big Spring High School and at Cumberland Perry Area Career & Technical Center (CPACTC).  Maslynn was the captain and 4-year goalie for the Big Spring High School Girl’s soccer team.  She is also a member of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), a Healthcare Club at CPACTC.  During the past summer, Maslynn worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Green Ridge Village.  She has already been accepted to York College where she hopes to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, with a minor in Neuroscience.  Maslynn is the daughter of Chad and Sarah Enck.  She has an older sister, Kaylee, and a younger brother, Caylin. 

DECEMBER 2024

Courtney Willinsky was introduced as the December Student of the Month.  Courtney is a senior at Big Spring High School and is a member of the Student Council, serving as its Treasurer.  She is a member of the high school softball team.  Outside of school, Courtney volunteers her time at Project Share and works at one of the plazas on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.  After graduation, Courtney plans to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, then go to graduate school to become a Nurse Practitioner.  Courtney is the daughter of Cathy Willinsky, has a sister Emily and a twin brother, Spencer.

NOVEMBER 2024

Erica Diep was introduced as the November Student of the Month.  Erica is a senior at Big Spring High School and is one of the senior class officers.  She is a member of the National Honor Society, Hispanic Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (National Math Honor Society), Student Athlete Leadership Council, Student Christian Athletes and the Mini-Thon Club.  She is a member of the Big Spring Girls Soccer and Girls Wrestling teams.  Outside of school, Erica is a member of Newville First Church of God and is a volunteer coach for Believe and Achieve Girls Youth Soccer camp.  She is currently undecided what college to attend but plans to attend a 4-year college in the fall.  Erica is the daughter of Thai and Christine Diep, and has one older brother, Evan.

OCTOBER 2024

Jaden Best was introduced as the October Student of the Month.  Jaden is a senior at Big Spring High School.  He is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (National Math Honor Society), Student Athlete Leadership Council, Best Buddies Club and Captain of the Big Spring High School Bocce team.  He is doing an internship through the Big Spring Athletic Department and is a Bulldog Mentor.  Outside of school, Jaden is a volunteer assistant coach for Area M Special Olympics Basketball team, a Unified Area M Flag Football Partner through Special Olympics and a member of Second Presbyterian Church.  He is currently undecided what college to attend but plans to attend a 4-year college in the fall.  Jaden is the son of Chris and Heather Best, and has 3 siblings in Christian, Colton and Arabella.
