Youth and Seniors

Holiday Heights

We have to opportunity to love on the Seniors and The Holiday Height Apartments. During the Holiday season we are spending time on the Saturday after Thanksgiving putting up their Christmas tree and decorating the common room for them. We bring cookies and make hot chocolate to enjoy with the residents. The Saturday after New Year’s, we put it all away for the next year. This is a great family event. It allows those of us without Grandparents here to love on them and it allows those Grandparents who are missing their grandbabies to enjoy the kids.

Helping Hands

At times our neighbors need our help with things that they may not be physically able to do. Once a need is brought to our attention, we will find someone in the club to help out. We have helped stack firewood, we have shoveled snow, we have built a ramp for accessibility to a home and countless other projects. If there is a need there is a LION.
