July 29, 2020 Mark Snider, Mike Zozaya,  and Cheryl Zozaya made presentation to Cassie Owens, Volunteer Manager for South County Outreach.  The Laguna Niguel Lions collected $400 for back packs, $400 for food distribution and 7 filled backpacks for the underserved in our area

7 6 2020: 1,315 pairs of glasses and 7 hearing aids collected

March - June 2020. Biweekly Zoom meetings. 4 donations to Saddleback Food Pantry.

January 25, 2020. Distributed 70 pairs of custom prescription glasses to patients from December 7 Vision Clinic at Santa Ana Sr Center.

December 7, 2019: Laguna Niguel Lions working with VIO provided vision services to 135 people at Costa Mesa Senior Center. 45 of them received new glasses before they left the clinic.

December 4, 2019 The Laguna Niguel Lions put together 5 gift bags for Camp Pendleton Marines: included lots of socks, lots of candy, lots of personal hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap bars, washcloths, hotel size shampoos and lotions), 5 twin size sheet sets, 5 decks of Uno cards, and some miscellaneous items (kettle corn packets, writing pads and gel pens, a pair of slippers, and multiple gift cards to Dominos Pizza, Starbucks, and Dunkin Donuts.

 

November 2019 The Laguna Niguel Lions donated toys for the Laguna Niguel military support committee

  • USS Stockdale DDG 106 is an Arleigh Burke Guided Missile Destroyer home based in San Diego. It has 380 officers and enlisted sailors.
  •  1st battalion 4th Marine Regiment. It is an infantry battalion with 800 marines and sailors based out of Camp Pendleton CA. It deployed to Syria in 2017.
  • The 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment in the 40th Infantry Division California National Guard. It is a Blackhawk Combat Helicopter Battalion consisting of 400 personnel based out Los Alamitos CA.

The Laguna Niguel Lions Club is a Service Club whose members are extremely active in their Community.  With Past Citizens of the Year, Mayors, City Council Members, Planning Commissioners, Chamber of Commerce Board Members and more.  We also financially support through our Fundraising efforts the following Charities
