In order to provide our support, we have to raise funds and absolutely rely on the generosity of local people, passers-by and local businesses. 

During 2024 everyone’s support enabled us to make donations to the following organisations:

Through sponsorship we have also supported a player of Ilminster Ladies Football team and assisted another young person to be able to take part in an educational/humanitarian overseas trip.

This was possible due to the funds raised from the Christmas Hamper draw; fashion show; dog rallies; numerous raffles plus a variety of other fundraising activities.

Previous charities supported have included: Parkinson’s Research, The Children’s Hospice Southwest, and The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Musgrove Park Hospital,

In the event of an international disaster, we simply rattle buckets!

What does 2025 have in store?

We have made a good start having already given donations to:

• 17 April - Easter Hamper draw – all proceeds will go to The Children’s Hospice and local charities.  Please see our Facebook page for details of sales. 
• 7 April - Supporting the Minster Milers water station for their 10k run by servicing the water station in return for a donation.
• 6 April - Supporting the Ilminster Food Bank, by collecting donations once a month outside of Tesco Ilminster.  Please see future dates on our Facebook page.
• 19 June - Annual fashion show in aid of St Margarets Hospice.
• 27 July - Garden Party to support local charities.
• 28 June - Fun Dog Show to support local charities and village amenities.
• 24 August - Fun and games at Party on the Park.
• 7 June - Fun and games at Imex.
