Kidsight Program

In addition to our lakeside sanctuary, we are deeply invested in initiatives that proactively safeguard vision across all ages. Our preventative outreach focuses on education, early detection, and community support—ensuring that individuals receive the resources necessary to address visual challenges before they become barriers. Through innovative programs and partnerships, we aim to build a future where vision health is prioritized and accessible to everyone in our community.

The vision screening may detect it as well as the following: 

• Nearsightedness – cannot see far away 
• Astigmatism – cannot see far away/close up 
• Amblyopia – “lazy eye” 
• Anisocoria – pupils are unequal 
• Anisometropia – one eye is blurred 
• Misalignment – eye turning in or out 
• Farsightedness – cannot see close up

 Scholarships

Two scholarships are awarded annually to eligible high school seniors in Fuquay-Varina & Willow Spring. The awards are in the amount of $1,500 each. interested parties should check there schools website.
