At FV Lions Club Foundation, we believe in the power of community and the impact of collective action. Our mission is to bring together passionate individuals who are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others. Whether you are a long-time resident or new to the area, there is a place for you in our vibrant and welcoming community.

The FV Lions Club Foundation is a group of men and women committed to service, fellowship, and fun. We come from all walks of life, united by a common goal: to improve our community and support those in need. Our members are the heart and soul of our organization, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a wealth of experience to everything we do.
What We Do
From organizing local events to supporting global initiatives, the FV Lions Club Foundation is always on the move. Our projects range from providing vision screenings and health services to organizing food drives and community clean-ups. We also support youth programs, scholarships, and disaster relief efforts. No matter the project, our goal is to make a tangible difference and inspire others to join us in our mission.

Scholarships
Two Scholarships to Eligible graduating students in Fuquay-Varina & Willow Spring.
Camp Dogwood
A recreational retreat center for individuals with visual challenges. It is an inclusive program designed for adult residents of North Carolina who are blind or visually impaired. Our commitment to serving the blind and visually impaired extends beyond traditional assistance.
KidSight Program
The Lions offer free screenings from 6 months of age to age seven. 80% of a child’s earning comes through their vision. The #1 cause of preventable vision loss in the USA is amblyopia.
The vision screening may detect it as well as the following:
- Nearsightedness – cannot see far away
- Astigmatism – cannot see far away/close up
- Amblyopia – “lazy eye”
- Anisocoria – pupils are unequal
- Anisometropia – one eye is blurred
- Misalignment – eye turning in or out
- Farsightedness – cannot see close up
