The Fuquay Varina Lions Club Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
The Fuquay Varina Lions Club is a 501(c)(4) organization that organizes fundraisers, including an annual golf tournament. All proceeds from these events are allocated to support individuals who are blind, visually or hearing impaired, or otherwise in need. None of these funds are used for administrative expenses and do not qualify as charitable donations.
The Foundation's initial project is a scholarship program. Contributions to this initiative can be made payable to the Fuquay Varina Lions Club Foundation, Inc., Federal ID number 88-3551656.
Individuals interested in supporting efforts related to blindness, visual or hearing impairment, childhood cancer, or diabetes may donate to the Fuquay Varina Lions Club Foundation, Inc. Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from IRAs may be considered if required minimum distributions apply. Employers may also offer matching gift programs.
