Lions Clubs world-wide recognize outstanding individuals by bestowing on them an award that is named for its founder,    Melvin Jones. This award is the highest form of recognition and embodies humanitarian ideas consistent with the nature a purpose of Lionism.


Jack Stickley Fellowship

The Jack Stickley Fellowship is the highest award given by North Carolina Lions, Inc.   Jack Stickley was the first North Carolina Lion to be a President of Lions International.  The fellowship honors a special person by a donation to North Carolina Lions,     to provide more services to those in need.


Ambassador Award

The honors a special person by a donation to North Carolina Lions, to provide more services to those in need (founded 2018).


William L. Woolard Partner-in-Service

A donated is made in the name of the recipients to "Partner-In-Service"   These funds help the North Carolina Lions, Inc to improve the lives of the blind, visually and/or hearing.


Sid L. Scruggs, III Beaon of Hope Fellowship

 A donation is made in the receiptants name to the "Beacon of Hope" which is placed in an endowment fund being used for the benefit of the NC Lions Summer Camp Dogwood
