Camp Dogwood
A recreational retreat center for individuals with visual challenges. It is an inclusive program designed for adult residents of North Carolina who are blind or visually impaired. Our commitment to serving the blind and visually impaired extends beyond traditional assistance.
As the signature project of the North Carolina Lions Club Foundation, it exemplifies our commitment to inclusive programming and warmly welcomes adults from across North Carolina who are blind or visually impaired. Our support for the visually impaired goes well beyond conventional aid. The camp, situated along the beautiful shores of Lake Norman, provides a variety of activities such as boating, swimming, fishing, water skiing, and tubing—all adapted to ensure accessibility and enjoyment. By creating spaces and experiences tailored to the abilities of our guests, we strive to nurture both community and personal growth.
