Big Wave Project Half Moon Bay

Serving along side the Foster City Lions Club, we helped assist and build this chicken coop for the Big Wave project in Half Moon Bay in October 2020. The Big Wave Project is a grassroots organization of parents and supporters of adults with developmental disabilities who are building a community to assist these adults learn to live independently. First Service Project 

Foster City Halloween Festival 

Great community service event in Foster City handing out candies to some amazing trick-or-treaters. We saw some great costumes. Great to see all the other volunteer groups, especially the Foster City Council and FCPD. Our brother Lions club Bay Area Global Outreach also participated in this very creative event put on by the Foster City Parks & Recreation Department. 

Drive By Pancake Breakfast for Diabetes Awareness & Toy Drive for Kids

Pancake breakfast pickup and toy drive drop off to raise awareness for Diabetes and toys for needy kids. Lions and volunteers from a variety of Lions clubs and organizations helped make this a special event for all who attended. The Foster City Mayor and a past Foster City Mayor attended the event, too. Drive By BBQ Tri Tip Fundraiser to Support Erik's Big Fight 

On May 25, 2021, Bair Island Cyber Lions Club in jiont venture with Foster City Lions Club held a BBQ Tri Tip Drive by fundraiser to support a young son of a Foster City Police Officer who was suffering from cancer. The event raised $5,350 for the cause. Please view the club's Facebook page for more details on how this event came to pass and all who helped make it happen. 

Drive By  BBQ Trip Tip Fundraiser to Support Club Activities

On June 29, 2021, Bair Island Cyber Lions Club held their own Tri Tip BBQ Fundraiser to support club activities. 

LocoMoco Fundraiser @ Foster City Rubber Ducky Races

On September 25, 2021, as part of the Foster City 50th Anniversary celebration, the city brought back their Rubber Ducky Races on the Lagoon in Ryan Park. The community was inviited to sign up for races in the lagoon where anything inflatable would qualify. Among the festivities were a community boat parade along the central lake and an afternoon concert in the ampitheatre. The Foster City Bair Island Cyber Lions served up Loco Moco as a breakfast item to an ever flowing line of satistied race attendees. For more photos on event, please visit our Facebook page.
