The East Windsor CT Lions Club District 23B
Celebrateed 70 years
of Lions' service in May of 2023
Lion Ray Boynton shows off his letter from the Lions Clubs International President. The letter recognizes and commemorates his 55 years of service to East Windsor Lions Club and the East Windsor community. It is noteworthy, Ray joined the Club before almost half of our members were born!!!! His service has impacted our club by his setting a good example. Among other service jobs, Ray has served pancakes at all of our Breakfasts starting at 6:30 in the morning, being a great role model for us all. We acknowledge that Ray, at almost 90 years of age, is still very invested in all that we do. After a few medical issues are resolved, he will be back at the turkey shoot handing out ammunition. God bless this wonderful Lion.

In 1917 Melvin Jones, a Chicago business man, asked a small group of fellow business people to form an organization with the thought that a larger group of individuals could do more to help those in need than he could do as one individual. Today the Lions are an international network of 1.4 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
A vision of one individual, Melvin Jones, helping those in need, Growing from community to community, state to state and country to country to over 1 million men & women to carry on the Melvin Jones vision.
