The activities of the Darlington Lions Club is only limited by the number of members available to support our many projects and assist in developing new ones. We welcome individuals who have an interest in our small town community and are looking to make a personal commitment of some of their time and energy to make Darlington a better place for everyone to live.
The club has two meetings monthly, on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays, from September through June. The first meeting each month is a gathering of the club’s Board of Directors to discuss club business and status of activities and is open to all Lions. On the 4th Thursday of each month we have a dinner meeting with a guest speaker providing a program of interest. These meetings are generally held at area churches.
Dues for the Lions Club, run about $6/month, plus the cost of the monthly meals. Family memberships are available whereby a spouse receives a 25% discount on dues.
