Lions Clean Coppell
On August 1st, 2026, Coppell Lions spent a beautiful morning clearing trash from about a half acre area along S. Beltline Rd. The Lions do a trash pick up on the first Saturday of each month helping keep Coppell beautiful!
Lions Deliver Free Beds
On July 25th, 2026, volunteers from Sleep in Heavenly Peace and the Coppell Lions delivered free beds to multiple households around the metroplex where children didn't have proper beds to sleep in. With matresses and bedding included, the kids were delighted!
Lions Meeting Features Dan Koller
At our meeting on July 20th, 2026, the Coppell Lions welcomed guest speaker Dan Koller, publisher of the Coppell Chronicle local online newspaper. He spoke to Lions and guests about his journalism background, the Chronicle's origins and how he sources stories. Lions meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month at First United Methodist Church in Coppell and the public is welcome to attend
Lions Meeting Features Dan Bilka
At our meeting on July 6th, 2026, the Coppell Lions welcomed guest speaker Dan Bilka who spoke about his family's Olympic experiences in Milan as his daughter Hannah Bilka won gold as part of the U.S. womens' ice hockey team. Lions meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month at First United Methodist Church in Coppell and the public is welcome to attend
Lions Celebrate America 250
On July 4th, 2026, Coppell Lions proudly marched in the Independence Day parade. The stuffed lions were a hit with the kids in the large and enthusiastic crowd!
Lions Clean Wagon Wheel Park
On June 6th, 2026, Coppell Lions cleaned up trash at Wagon Wheel Park helping keep it beautiful for our residents to enjoy. This is a monthly event held the first saturday of each month.
Lions Bowl
On June 1st, 2026, the Coppell Lions gathered at Main Event in Lewisville for an evening of bowling and a good time was had by all!
Lions Build Beds for Kids
On March 14th, 2026, at least 10 Coppell Lions joined well over a hundred other volunteers including Lions from around district 2-X1 to build beds for children who lack them in cooperation with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization. Together we built 100 beds which will be donated along with matresses and bedding to guardians who apply.
Lions Provide Free Eye Exams
On February 25th, 2026, the Coppell Lions club conducted free eye exams for 17 children at the Cozby Library in Coppell. The kids were all great and loved the free toy they got after their eye tests!
39th Annual Pancake Breakfast
On February 21st, 2026, the Coppell Lions with the great support of Leos and Boy Scouts served hundreds of hungry Coppellians a delicious breakfast of sausage patties, biscuits, gravy and pancakes in one of our two major annual fundraisers. Thanks to all who came out and a huge thanks to all our sponsors led by Frost Bank!
