CHEMUNG LAKE, BRIDGENORTH, ENNISMORE DISTRICT LIONS

The Chemung Lake District Lions, Chartered May 29, 1974, have had a name change. We are still the same Lions Club but with a new name serving our communities.

We still welcome new members - are YOU up to the challenge to work with a like-minded group of ordinary people helping their communities?

These are examples of over 50 years of service have contributed to you and your community.

new sports park;
upgrades to the hockey arena;
new library in Bridgenorth;
support for many Youth sports programs;
2025 was our 50th year of providing Red Cross swimming programs for children at Jones Beach;
support for local schools (Chemong Public School & St Martin's Catholic Elementary School) meal programs for children;
Seniors' meals programs; financial help for families in need during emergenices;
ongoing support for Community Care, Ennismore;
supporting our local FoodBank at Bridgenorth United Church.

During our 52 years, we have also provided support for Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, and the Pediatric/Childhood Cancer Care expansion program at PRHC. We've made donations for new equipment & expansions of their Cath Labs, and equipment for Pre-Natal Birthing rooms along with other donations for equipment at PRHC; in all, donations to PRHC exceeded more than $300K.

Our Cruise Night Car Shows will start again on May 25, 2026 until September 28, 2026 --- We will have Live Bands every second week and the Alternate weeks you will be entertained by DJ Greg Rutherford.
