The CANDON CITY LIONS CLUB is a civic organization, under the International Association of Lions Clubs, belonging to District 301-C, composed originally of 23 members, organized last August 15, 2003 through the leadership of Immediate Past District Governor/Past Council Chairman Dr. Modesto A. Pacquing.
The Candon City Lions Club helps the unfortunate... not only in Candon but as far as our hearts and hand can reach out...
The club proudly supports a variety of causes, a few of which are outlined below:
- Multidisciplinary Medical Mission
- Eye & ear screening
- Cataract surgery
- Minor & major surgeries
- Cleft lip/palate repair
- Diabetes Awareness Program
- Feeding Program
- Sight for Kids Program
- Free reading eyeglasses
- Environmental project
all these activities symbolise "Service to Humankind" and it certainly quenches the thirst of the members to serve and to excel in all field of service.
So we could sustain our mission to the poor, we appeal to the generosity of benevolent individuals to help us in the continuation of this endeavor.
