In company with many other community groups, Branxton Lions Club attends Bunnings Warehouse premises at Singleton Heights to deliver the famous Bunnings sausage sizzle.  In fact, the Lions Club of Branxton will be at Bunnings, Singleton, on the following dates: Saturdays, May 11, June 22, July 6, August 31, October 26, November 23.  But customers ordering their favourite snack will find that the cost of soft cold drinks has gone up to $2.00 (from $1.50).  A Bunnings spokesperson said: “In response to feedback from community groups, Bunnings is increasing the price of canned drinks and bottled water at our community sausage sizzles across Australia,” Bunnings revealed. “The price of drinks will increase from $1.50 to $2.00. The price of a sausage in bread will remain at $3.50 (with or without onions).”  The Lions Club of Branxton certainly hope that the increase in the price will not put our customers off coming to the BBQ and easing their hunger and thirst.
