District Governor Phillip Morley made his annual visit to members of Branxton Lions Club along with his wife Karen at the Greta Workers Sports & Recreation Club on Thursday 15^th August.  After a private meeting in the Club’s sumptuous auditorium, Phillip and Karen spoke about Lions membership matters, the Lions Clubs International Foundation, which donates cash to address natural disasters and finally, the annual District Convention being held in October at The Entrance. The District Governor of Lions District 201 N3 makes one formal visit to each Lions Club in the District and Phillip’s motto for the year is: ‘FRIENDSHIP IN SERVICE’.  After the formalities of the meeting, Phillip and Karen joined the Branxton Lions members and guests in a delightful social and friendly lunch.  Meanwhile, Branxton Lions Club Secretary, Wendy Lawson, presented a gift to Phillip recognising his attendance which was a presentation from the winery she owned before going into retirement.
