The Lions Club of Branxton Club Secretary, Wendy Lawson has been visiting local pharmacies who agreed to assist in a major new environmental recycling scheme, recycling empty blister packs as pictured. All of our local pharmacies agreed to participate in a recycling project that was widely announced in Cessnock recently. All you have to do is to collect your empty blister packs and visit the local pharmacies listed below.

Branxton Lions Club Secretary Wendy Lawson said: ‘Staff at the pharmacies are happy to answer any questions or to help with information. All the shops participate in a “Return of unwanted Medicines” where they collect expired or unused medicines and depending on medicines have avenues to dispose through companies of production.’
