Eyeglasses Project - did you know that our Lions Club recycles eyeglasses?

Lions recognize the urgent need for corrective lenses and we collect usable glasses in our community to support the Lions Recycle For Sight Program. Usable glasses enhance lives! Refractive errors can be easily corrected with eyeglasses, yet millions of people living in low and middle income countries lack access to basic eye care services. Lions have recognized the urgent need for corrective lenses and we collect usable glasses in our community to support the Lions Recycle For Sight Program. We urge you to support this important program. Thank you.

As an added bonus, any eyeglasses that can't be re-used, Lions help to minimize landfill waste by supporting precious metal reclamation and scrap processing for damaged glasses.

What does the Willow Point Lions Club collect?

1) prescription eyeglasses

3) sunglasses

4) lenses not in frames and

5) empty frames

Please note that we cannot collect eyeglass cases.
