Sixty-Three Years of Service!
Lions serve. It’s that simple. Our club is a place where together, we to give our time and efforts toward improving our community and the world. We focus on health and well-being initiatives, supporting those in need through humanitarian services and encouraging higher education through our annual scholarship program.
The Westport Lions Club was chartered on November 16, 1961. Its first meeting, held at Jean’s Farm in North Westport, featured the induction of 38 members. One of our charter members, Russ Hart, is still an active Lions Club member today. Our members come from wide range of work backgrounds and skill sets. What we have in common is that we work to change lives in ways both great and small. Service is a personal journey that impacts both the people serving and the people we serve.
As a Westport Lions Club Member, you'll join a local group of men and women who volunteer to support our community every day.
