About Our Club
Founded in 1976, we are a local chapter of the Lions Club International based in the Western Delaware County, PA area (Glen Mills, Thornton, West Chester). We are a rapidly growing club with 42 current members.
Overview
Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
Our local chapter is just one of over 46,000. Lions clubs have traditionally focused on providing a helping hand to the blind and visually impaired. We also help others in our community that are facing other hardships. Our local chapter also helps Thornbury township by handling concessions at some Thornbury Park events such as Memorial Day and Independence Day.
