OUR KEY RECYCLING PROJECTS
Containers for change recycling project. The Wamuran Lions Club uses this recycling incentive to collect the monies as donations, which is then used to support our community activities, projects and local causes. We ask that you consider donating your containers for change money to us and help support our volunteer group.
There are a couple of ways you can donate you 10c containers for change money to Wamuran Lions Club.

You can use the account code C10472981 when taking your containers to the recycle depot to have the monies deposited directly into our account

You can bring your 10c containers to the Wamuran Sports Complex during our meeting times (2nd Thursday of each month 6-7pm), or to our monthly Community Dinner nights (2nd Friday of each month 5-8pm) and we will take to recycle depot and collect the monies directly. (Please reach out if you have a large quantity of containers that may need collection wamuranlionsclub@gmail.com)
Wamuran Lions Club also collects prescription glasses/sunglasses (undamaged) and forwards them to LIONS RECYCLE FOR SIGHT PROGRAM. Since 1998 Lions Club of Australia have been successfully restoring sight to millions of persons in need through this program. We don't need the cases, just undamged prescription glasses/sunglasses.

We also collect ring pulls off of cans, empty tablet blister packs and small household batteries. These are sent for recycling and proceeds go to charities that fund wheelchairs, mobility devices, and support for children with disabilities.
Glasses, sunglasses, household batteries, ring pulls and blister packs can all be bought to the Wamuran Sports Complex during our meeting times (2nd Thursday of each month 6-7pm), or to our monthly Community Dinner nights (2nd Friday of each month 5-8pm) otherwise email us on wamuranlionsclub@gmail.com
