For over 75 years, Lions Australia has served with uncommon kindness, putting the needs of our neighbours, our communities and our world first. Since the first Lions club was formed in Lismore, NSW in September 1947, we have grown to be Australia's largest service club.
Wamuran Lions Club was established on the 8th June 2017, and we have been serving the community ever since.
Our committed team of members actively fundraise, serve, and volunteer at a local community level. Part proceeds from our fundraising efforts are reinvested directly back into local projects, individuals, and community events.
This includes supporting initiatives such as the Wamuran Lions Family Carnival and the Read Bear Project in local schools, as well as providing monetary assistance to families experiencing hardship during childhood illness. We also support not-for-profit charities including Bright Bags.
Beyond our local community, Wamuran Lions contributes to broader causes through fundraising opportunities that benefit organisations such as the Heart Foundation, Assistance Dogs Programs, Disaster Relief, and Hunger Relief initiatives across Australia.
Through service, generosity, and community spirit, our members work together to make a meaningful difference both locally and nationally.
