Fiscal year is July 1 – June 30.

Membership Fee

One-time membership fee is paid to the International Lions Clubs is $35.00. 

Annual club dues to join The Virginia Beach Host Lions Club

• $100.00 a year or pay $25.00 four times a year (every 3 months) to cover all administration costs:
  • International dues
  • State dues
  • Club dues

We have two separate, individual accounts: an administrative account and activities account. 

Membership dues and fun activities at meetings provide income for all administrative costs. 

• Here are some examples of our fun activities:
  • People who forget to wear their Lions pin are fined a quarter
  • Pay $5.00 on your birthday to hear or not hear the Birthday song
  • Trivia, best design, …
• 50/50 Raffle: Lion wins 50% of raffle; Club keeps the other 50%.

Our activity budget is funded through fundraising.
