EYE HEALTH PROGRAMME

Do you have unwanted prescription spectacles or Hearing Aids?

Chichester Lions Club have been collecting and sorting used spectacles since 1980. Today they receive supplies from Lions Clubs throughout the British Isles, including Truro Club, as well as from opticians and supermarket sources. These are then sorted in preparation for onward transmission to Medico France in Le Havre, who clean and grade them, ready for use in eye camps in Africa, India and Eastern Europe.

We ask that anyone who has spectacles, that are surplus to requirements, bring these to the collection point at our bookstall on Lemon Quay Truro (see below) 

We also have permanent collection points at Probus and Perranporth Doctors surgeries and Kenwyn Church (open 9 - 5)
