The popular Towcester Farmers Market is held on the 2nd Friday of the month from 9.00am until 1.30pm in the Sponne Arcade Richmond Road Car park and is now managed by the Towcester Rotary Club
At a typical market you'll find a range of stalls, selling fresh vegetables, sausages and burgers, cheeses, freshly baked bread, free-range eggs, jams and honey, savoury pies, quiches, ready-made meals, locally baked cakes, olives, and crayfish fish cakes. There are organic and gluten-free options. There is also a recycle business providing package free products.
All profits from the rents received from the stallholders go to good causes which benefit the local community, such as McMillan Nurses, Towcester Diabetes Support, and several others as well..
Richmond Road is located close to the town centre just off Watling Street - the main A5 through Towcester. There is ample free parking in Sponne Arcade Car Park
