Scholarship Criteria

Providing a Lions club scholarships to deserving youth is one example of the way Stillwater Lions Club provides community service.

Selection Criteria:

1.  The applicant should live in the Stillwater Area.

2.  The applicant will provide an educational plan for attaining his/her career goals.  This could include a four year college or other accredited training programs.

3.  The applicant will explain how they have been involved in community service or plan to serve their community in the future.

4.   The Stillwater Lions Club serves those who struggle to overcome physical limitations.  We therefore encourage students with hearing, vision, diabetes or other impairments to apply.

5.  No financial information will be required.

6.  We ask the school counselors to select two to three applicants based on the above criteria.   A committee of Stillwater Lions Club will make the final decision on who receives the scholarship.
