We regret to say that the tradition of the annual Terry McGowan Wrestling Tournament is currently on Hold, untill after the current COVID-19 Pandemic is long behind us, and our participating schools return to normal athletic competition for close contact indoor athletic activities.  At present, this will not be in the foreseeable future.  Please Check back here for more details on a regular basis.  In the meantime, we will leave the rest of this page as it was when the event was last held.

The 39th Edition of the Terry McGowan Invitational Wrestling Tournament that was scheduled to be held at Park View High School  in Sterling, Virginia on a Saturday in December 2018.  Due to the fact that the Host School was unable to field a team this year, the Tournament will not bel held.  We hope to resume the tournament in 2019.   The exact date and time has not yet been set.  Please check back her for more details.   Contact Lion Dwight Brooks for more information on this activity.

At present, the Admission Policies and Teams have not yet been set.  Please Check Back Here often, as we will post the details as they are set.  General Admission is expected to be a $10.00 donation per person (Adult or Student K-12)

The tournament was to be wrestled on 2 mats simultaneously, featuring up to 12 teams in 14 weight classes.

Host School, Park View High School will be inviting up to 11 additional teams.
