Welcome to the
Sierra Vista Lions Club Website!

The Sierra Vista Lions Club is a non-profit organization proudly serving our local, state and global communities since 1955.

Our Lions are men, women and families dedicated to making a positive impact on our local and global communities.  We're your friends, neighbors and coworkers whose combined efforts allow us to work on projects important to our community and also raise funds to help the less fortunate.

Please contact us for more information.  Better yet, help out at one of our service projects or join us at one of our meetings.  We look forward to meeting and working with you.

We meet the 2nd Wednesday evening of each month. Our meeting locations may vary, so please contact the secretary at (520) 266-1426 if you would like to attend.  We look forward to meeting you.
The Sierra Vista Lions Club is continually searching for civic-minded individuals of good moral character and integrity who are willing to donate some time and effort toward making our community a better place in which to live.
All such individuals are encouraged to assist with one of our service projects or attend one of our meetings; find out more about us; and apply for membership in our Lions Club.
The most important reason is to help others. Members of the Sierra Vista Lions Club work and raise funds allowing us to offer both financial assistance, manpower, and volunteer services where they are needed most in our community.  As a Lion, you'll:
  • Make a positive impact on people's lives
  • Help our community while gaining valuable skills
  • Grow personally and professionally
  • Network with other service minded people in our local and global communities
  • Energize your life, meet new people, and have fun
That depends on you!  Your time commitment depends on the number and type of community service activities you undertake. You may have a very busy schedule, so we don't expect you to attend every Club meeting or participate in all activities and events. We do ask that you be as active as possible; which may mean as few as 3 - 4 hours a month to much more.
Our Club holds one monthly meeting to conduct business and plan service projects or fund raisers. You need not attend every meeting - just what works for you.
Membership in the Sierra Vista Lions Club is by invitation only & limited to persons of legal majority, good moral character and reputation. Submitting a Lions Clubs International Membership Application does not guarantee you will be invited to join the Club. Membership process is:
  • Attend a minimum of two meetings, service projects, or equivalent
  • Be sponsored by a current Lions Club Member
  • Complete and submit a Membership Application
  • Pay a one-time membership fee of $35
  • Pay semi-annual dues of $50 (Familes and students pay a reduced amount.)
  • Board of Directors votes on membership application
