Happy New Year
We will be meeting at CJ’s at 6 pm on Thursday, February 17th
Hello Lions,
I hope all of you are staying warm and safe. If anyone needs a ride to our meetings, please reach out and we’ll make arrangements. A reminder that if school is closed or is dismissed early for snow, we will not have our meeting.
As you all know, since Premier Events has closed, we have had some difficulty finding a venue for our Lions Club meetings. We are very happy that CJ’s has provided us with a venue and allowed us to store our meeting contents at their facility. Since we now order our food individually, we have to wait for our checks just like at any restaurant. Our servers at CJ’s have to prepare 20+ bills at each of our meetings. Please be patient and kind as our servers do their best to get us our bills timely. Remember, they are also serving others in the restaurant. Our attitude and comments reflect our image as Lions. Please make it a positive one.
Please continue to pray for Lion Ron Kerr as he continues his healing and rehabilitation and Lion Dick Weaver as he heals from his surgery. Hope to see everyone at our February meeting.
Blessings,
Lion President Lisa Kemp
