President’s message:
Hello Fellow Lions – The saying says, “March comes in like a Lion and goes out like a Lamb.” Hopefully to our club this means we will be loud and make a difference in the community in the month of March.
Looking back at the month of February we had our normal club meeting with a great turnout of almost 30 members and guests present on Thursday February 19th with a taco meal and wonderful desserts. We recognized 2 Student of the Months, welcomed Zone Chair Ron Garmen from the Plainfield Club, inducted Joann Creter as a new member, and helped Jerry Cramer celebrate his 64th birthday. Several members received Chevrons for Years of Service presented by Zone Chair Ron.
The month of March brings our normal club meeting on Thursday March 19th where we will have the Scouts as our guests and program that evening.
