Why Lions ?
Lions are an international network of 1.4 million men and women in 200 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters. Beginning in 1917, the association of Lions Clubs has provided millions of people with the opportunity to give something back to their communities. As a Lions Club member, you can make a difference everyday in your community; provide support locally or reach out internationally; grow personally and professionally by participating in our programs, community serve projects and events; have an impact on the local and international community and business leaders; and have access to membership discounts and services.

The Sayreville Lions Club was chartered in 1936 and has been active in the community ever since. We have served the town and its people for over 80 years. We are always looking for new members who want to get involved with their town and the work of Lions around the world.
