Meetings
Lions Clubs International (LCI) assesses each member $39.00 annual fee (billed semi-annually in July and January)
Multiple District Four (MD-4) assesses each member $14.00 annual fee (billed semi-annually in August and February)
District 4-L6 assesess each member $9.00 annual fee (billed by MD-4 and reimbursed to the District) 

During the LCI 94th Annual Convention held in Seattle, WA, the constitutional ammendment to increase membership dues was passed.

Beginning July 2012, each member will be assessed $20.50 per member bi-annually...a $2.00 increase or $41.00 per capita. 

In July 2013 each member will be assessed $21.50 bi-annually...another $2.00 increase or $43.00 per capita...until the next constitutional ammendment becomes necessary again.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP


Students enrolled in an educational institution and between the age of legal majority in the
jurisdiction in which they reside and through the age of 30 receive a special dues concession,
paying only half International dues (US$19.50) and are exempt of any entrance fees.

LIONS CLUBS MAINTAIN TWO SEPARATE ACCOUNTS:

ADMINISTRATIVE ACCOUNT:


A.      Source of Funds
1.      Pure Lions money (membership dues, tail twistings,
Lions Donation)
2.      Designated Fund – funds raised by a member Lion/s
donated to the club for specific activity/project of
their choice/approval/designation.  
 
B.      Allocation of Funds
1.      LCI & MD-4 Dues
2.      Sunshine Fund – set aside an amount for benevolence /
b-days/ anniversaries/ advertisements/
3.      Rainy day/Slush fund – set aside an amount to be
appropriated to depleted funds/emergency expenses/non-budgeted
expenses.
4.      Petty cash – designate a readily available cash fund
for immediate use
 
 
      CIVIC/CHARITABLE ACCOUNT:
 
A.      Source of Funds:
1.      Fundraising involving Public money (monies collected
go to a service project only).
2.      Donation from a non-Lion (individual or corporation)
 
B.      Allocation of Funds
1.      Humanitarian Mission
2.      Service Project/s
3.      District Disaster Fund
 
 

 *Money raised from the public is returned back to the public by using it in a civic or charitable projects

*Administrative Funds may be used for a civic/charitable project but not the other way around.
