Durable Medical Equipment Loaner Program
The Rutland Lions Club is proud to be able to offer free use of durable medical equipment (DME), such as walkers, wheelchairs, crutches, commodes and shower chairs. We store the equipment in our shed at the Community Center on Glenwood Road.
Please consult with your physician or therapist so that we can help you find the correct piece of equipment for your needs.
All equipment is donated, and as such we have a fluctuating inventory.
We do accept donations in sanitized, working condition. Please contact one of the team members to arrange a time for a donation.
You will be asked to sign the following Waiver of Liability when you are picking up the equipment.
Waiver of Liability
I agree not to hold responsible the RUTLAND LIONS CLUB or anyone connected with this loan program for any accident or injury that may occur as a result of the usage of any durable medical equipment acquired through this program.
I understand that all items are taken as is, and we do not take responsibility for the condition of the equipment, nor do we provide training for its usage.
To access the equipment or make a donation of equipment, please contact one of the following Rutland Lions, who will arrange a time to meet you at our shed, located at the Community Center on Glenwood Road.
