  Our Recent years  

The club, although being chartered in 1961, was in danger of folding until 2017.

With the inclusion of some new members and some Lions transfering from other clubs, we survived. Click on the links below to see what we have done since then.

We managed tp move forward and re-establish the club within the community. We welcomed 4 new members, finishing the year with a nett increae of one. We supported the youth more than ever through the local schools and sporting clubs.

A difficult year as we came out of covid and its lockdowns. We managed to get through and stay relevant, now for the rebuild!

Another tough year due to Covid. However, we managed to survive and towards, the end of the year, move forward somewhat.

A very rough year. Once covid-19 hit, we basically closed down from March to December and the rest was by email and some phone calls. We did manage some good projects before we hit the "wall".

This was  busy year for the club and the best one we have had for some time,
We undertook at least a dozen projects and welcomed new members as well.

RE-LAUNCH - December 2016  back to top

                                                                                       

Tuesday 13th December 2016 was a momentous occasion for the Lions Club of Queenscliff -Point Lonsdale.

The club has re-dedicated itself to the local community and the Lions International aim and objects.

On the night three new members have been inducted into the club and new Office Bearers were installed.

The club is looking forward to a bright future.
