PICKERINGTON LIONS 2020 LABOR DAY PARADE **  FISH FRY  **  FESTIVITIES

72 Years of Labor Day Fun!

All activities will be held on Labor Day - Monday, September 7, 2020 on Opportunity Way and Pickerington High School Central

 

COVID UPDATEDue to the Coronavirus situation, we are working with the City of Pickerington in order to make a parade and fish fry work within the COVID Health Guidelines.  This year's event will be very different from previous years. 

 

STATIONARY PARADE:  10am - 1pm.  All floats and entries will be lined up on Opportunity Way as usual.  However, the parade will not move.  Instead, people who want to see the parade will turn onto the east end of Opportunity Way from Lockville Road and view the parade as they drive their cars down Opportunity Way.  Line up for the stationary parade MUST BE complete by 9:30am.

To REGISTER:  Email Phil Reese and Dave King at pickeringtonlions@gmail.com with the following info:

1.  Name of your organization;

2.  Contact name and email for us to get a hold of you;

3.  Type of Entry & how many (float, car, tractor, walkers, etc);

4.  Approx total number of people;

PLEASE NOTE:  All candidates or Issues appearing on this year's ballot are asked to pay a $50 fee to be in the parade.  Mail to Pickerington Lions, PO Box 163, Pickerington, Ohio 43147

 

GRAND MARSHAL:  Our Grand Marshals this year will be longtime residents, community supporters and Lions Club members Bob & Cherie Koch in honor of their many years of service to the community!  

 

DRIVE-THRU FISH FRY:  Begins at 10 am by the field house doors at Pickerington High School Central.  To get to the Fish Fry, you MUST turn onto Opportunity way from Lockville Road and drive past the stationary parade.  At the west side of Opportunity Way, you may turn right into the High School's Hill Road Side parking lot to get to the fish fry OR if you do not want to purchase fish dinners, you will simply continue driving straight out to Hill Road to exit the parade route.    

Fish Fry Cost:  $10 per Fish Dinner cooked on site at the ROOSTER'S Food Truck.   Credit Cards Only Please!
