Kid Sight:

The Old Saybrook Lions sponsor a program called “Kid Sight”, Lions partner with local schools and provide a service free of charge screening children.  Every one out of three children has a vision problem almost all of which are correctable with early detection.  This screening is done with a digital camera and a computer program.  It is a touchless and painless process; the child looks at the camera and an image of they eye is taken and analyzed by a computer program.  Results are distributed to the school nurse.
