Lions Club of Mobile 3rd Annual Golf Tournament

Date: September 13, 2019

Location: Heron Lakes Country Club

Register as a single player, a team, or become a proud sponsor of the 3rd Annual Lions Club of Mobile Golf Tournament which will be held at the beautiful Heron Lakes County Club in Mobile, Alabama. Shotgun start is  at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2019.

The event proceeds will fund many worthy projects such as Lions/University of South Alabama Eye Research Institute, the Alabama Lions Sight Conservations Association, Camp Sugar Falls/Camp Seale Harris, Lions/Boys and Girls Club of South Alabama Eye Examinations.

Lions Club of Mobile Tunnel Vision 5K Run

The Lions Club of Mobile had a great turnout for the 2019 Mobile Tunnel Vision 5K Run and we would like to thank all of our sponsors and race attendendies who made this fund raising event possbile.

Below is informaiton on the 2019 race

Listed below are the specifics of the event.

Time:  

5K Run/walk will start at 8 AM.  

Location:  

Run/walk will start at the intersection of Washington and Government Streets - in front of the Mobile Public Library.

Benefits: 

Proceeds from the Tunnel Vision 5K will benefit the sight programs of the Lions Club of Mobile. Please visit www.lionsclubofmobile.org to learn about their programs.

Distance: 

Point to point 5K course.  Participants will start at the Mobile Public Library on Government Street and finish at Cafe Del Rio on the Causeway. 

Parking:  

Participants are asked to park near the start of the 5K. Shuttle buses will be available to take participants from Cafe Del Rio to the start after the event.  Shuttles will start leaving Cafe Del Rio startting at 8:45 AM; last shuttle will leave Cafe Del Rio at 10:30 AM.

Entry Fees: 

Fees include race shirt, shuttle service, and entrance to post-race party.

Registration: 

Pre-register by mail (entries should be postmarked by April 27), walk-in at McCoy Outdoor, Run-N-Tri, or Fleet Feet in Mobile or Running Wild in Fairhope until noon on Thursday before race. or online until 4 AM Friday before race.  Early packet pick-up available on Friday from noon until 5:30 PM at the Port City Pacers office located at 358 Morgan Avenue.  Race day registration and packet pick-up in front of the Mobile Public Library from 6:15 - 7:30 AM.

Shirts: 

Participants registered by April 27 will be guaranteed a tee shirt in the size requested.  After April 27, tee shirt sizes can not be guaranteed.

Awards:  

Top male and female Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters. Top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24. 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75+.

Post-Race Party:   

A taco bar, beverages, awards presentation and music at Cafe Del Rio on the Causeway.
