Transport of Eye Tissue:

The transportation of eye tissue for corneal transplant is facilitated from Manitowoc to the Wisconsin Lions Eye Bank in Middleton.  This is done with the assistance of the Wisconsin State Patrol of Fond du Lac.

On occasion, the reverse of this procedure is done to provide eye tissue for transport at the local hospitals here in Manitowoc and Two Rivers.
