+  SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: The Littlestown Lions Club  sponsored a scholarship pageant for junior girls in the Adams/Hanover Area High Schools since 1962.  The program has been suspended in 2013 with discontiinuance of the state program.

+  O.Y.W.: The new Adams/Hanover Area Outstanding Young Woman is Kelsey Lowman, now a Littlestown High School Senior.   Other 2012 award recipients were runner-up Josie Quinn of Southwestern High School, and category winners Holly Beth Little of Delone, Kayla DePalmer of New Oxford, Brittany Miller of Southwestern and Katie Boutin of Fairfield.

+ SCHOLARSHIP SPONSORS: $4600 in cholarships were awarded at the conclusion of the 2012 program. (Nearly $90,000 has been awartded since the program's inception.)  Scholarships for 2012 are being underwritten by:
