We are a philanthropic and social organization, founded in 1938.

Our charitable foundation is the Huntington Beach Host Lions Foundation

and is a 501c3.  All donations made go into our foundation account to support our community volunteer work.

Our 50+ members (men and women) strive to make our community, country, and world just a little bit better for those less fortunate.

Lions Club global causes are vision, diabetes, hunger, environment,  childhood cancer and mental health.

Our motto is Doing Good While Having Fun.

How do we do this great stuff?

By helping those in need, by helping raise funds at their events, and by donating 100% of the proceeds raised directly to the people and organizations we have agreed to support as part of our 501C3 Foundation.

So how do we raise money for our 501C3 foundation?

We put on Pancake Breakfasts, Burger and Hot Dog events, Food Drives, Oktoberfest, and our main annual fundraiser, “Crabfest”.

Lions help during disasters. Together, our Foundation and Lions are helping communities following natural disasters by providing for immediate needs such as food, water, clothing and medical supplies – and aiding in long-term reconstruction.

Lions Project for Canine Companions for Independence:

LPCCI is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 to educate, raise funds and to seek puppy raisers for Canine Companions for Independence.

Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) pioneered the concept of training specially-bred dogs to help people with disabilities other than blindness. Founded in 1975, CCI was the first in-depth program of its kind. Not only does CCI teach dogs the skills to bring independence to people with disabilities, they teach people with disabilities the skills needed to master an exceptional dog.
