Meetings

In our Lions Club members come from a variety of backgrounds and have different interests and skills.  As we co-operate and interact with each other, and other Lion's Clubs we are able to achieve much more as a club than if were we to work as individuals on our own.  Encouragement and support is very important as we serve our community and reach out further afield.

We can learn from the world of nature because in the undisturbed natural habitats there is quite a variety of flora and fauna which contributes to its richness.

Even when we enjoy a good meal there has to be a variety of items to make it appetising in taste and attractive in appearance.

In a world where diversity can lead to division and conflict, let’s demonstrate that the principles of Lions will lead to a different outcome where there is understanding and mutual support among people of different backgrounds. Let’s be united but not uniform.
