GYMPIE SOUTH LIONS CLUB LEVEL YOTY 2025

Gympie South Lions hosted their club level Youth of the Year 2024 contest on Tuesday 4th March, 2025. A fantasic group of worthy contestants captivated the audience as they answered the impromptu questions and then presented their prepared speech. Congratulations to each and every one of the six entrants - you are a credit to your school, family, community and most of all yourselves. Well done, it was great meeting you all. There can only be one overall winner and that was taken out by St Pat's student Emily Collyer. Ethan Cahill from James Nash SHS won the Public Speaking award.

Emily will now continue to the next level and represent Gympie South Lions at the regional finals to be held on 15th March. Some Gympie South Lions members will be there as her support crew.

Regional finals held 15th March 2025 - outcome:

Emily was a wonderful representative for Gympie South Lions at the 201 Q4 regional finals of YOTY. All students presented well and it was a very close quest. Unfortunately Emily wasn't chosen as the overall winner. Well done , Emily.
