President's Message
I am honoured to accept the role of President of the Greenbank Lions for 2024/2025. I extend my deepest gratitute to you for entrusting me with this position. We are fortunate to reside in such a beautiful place , where everyone feels welcome ,included, and has a sense of belonging. I am immensely proud to call Greenbank my home, thanks to the warmth and hospitality extended by all of you. My friends, as we embark on this journey together, my hope is that we continue to work diligently to enhance and uplift Greenbank and the surrounding communities in our area of service. My primary objective is to increase our membership by highlighting our community engagement and focusing on our efforts to improve the quality of life here. I firmly believe that "charity begins at home, " and hence, I intend to prioritize our committments to our local communities.
As your president ,I am committed to upholding the Lions tradition of serving our communities by collaborating closely with you. "Be the change you wish to see in the world". Together we are that change. Let us strive to make a significant , positive impact on our communities of service this year , creating a lasting legacy while enjoying the process in great fellowship.

bags of fall lawn (7-27-27) fertilizer
for $ 50 a bag. This includes tax and free delivery.

We were so happy to have a special visit from Art, Jeff and Joe. The trio represented the Lions Clubs in Scugog who joined together to purchase a much-needed bedside chair for Lakeridge Health’s Port Perry Hospital. A joint $1,000 donation from the Port Perry Lions Club, Greenbank District Lions Club and Blackstock Lions Clubs for a bedside chair for Lakeridge Health’s Port Perry Hospital. This will help getting a patient out of bed and sitting in a chair for activities, meals and visiting loved ones can be so beneficial for their healing. It allows the patient to stretch their legs, use muscles that become stiff lying in bed for extended periods, maintain strength, eat a meal with less struggle and more dignity, and so much more. It is often an indicator that a patient is one big step closer to being able to go home. Lions are your friends and neighbours volunteering to help those who are underprivileged or in need of our help. We are always looking for those interested in community service work, with great ideas and a willingness to bring their special skills to projects and events. Lions are active. Our motto is "We Serve." Lions are part of a global service network, doing whatever is necessary to help our local communities. We are dedicated to giving back to our community and welcome any new members who share our goal of serving our community.
