The Gananoque Lions Club
Who are we?
The Gananoque Lions are a group of 42 dedicated and very active individuals. We have been working on many major projects over the years including community, provincial, national and international. We also participate in community events such as Canada Day Celebrations, Huck Finn Derby, Remembrance Day, Pump-gan-fest, The Car Show and The Santa Claus Parade and our all new Senior's Luncheon. We have also helped out in disaster relief and environmental services in our Community and beyond.
How do I become a Lion?
Gananoque Lions are always accepting new members that are enthusiastic and willing to serve our community. To be a Lions Club Member you must be invited by a member. It is open to anyone of legal majority and good moral character and reputation who are ready and willing to help others. For more information on Lions and becoming a member... Become a Member
Members are expected to give freely of their time, energy and talents, to attend regular club meetings, be available for committee assignments and to assist and support club officers in our fundraising projects and community events.
Why should I become a member?
By becoming a member (A TEAM PLAYER) you will be an integral part of the world's largest service clubs. Members are the force of this great organization. The satisfaction you will feel when you have made a difference in the community is overwhelming. You will develop leadership skills while going forward to the common goal of serving our community.
