Let's Dance - Fundraiser in support of Children at Risk

Join us Saturday, October 22nd, 2022 at Maple Hall for a dinner, dance and silent auction in support of Children at Risk. Children at Risk provides services in the Greater Ottawa area to families with children diagnosed within the Autism Spectrum Disorders. These children are “at risk” of not developing to their full potential if they do not receive early intensive intervention implemented skillfully and diligently. By developing a child’s skills to overcome behavioural, communication and social problems at the onset, they stand to achieve their full potential. This will enhance family life and community participation.

Seeking Fundraising Opportunities

The CLC is looking for fundraising opportunities. If you have a local sporting tournament, event, market, festival, or other celebration and would like to have our club provide BBQ/food services please contact us, by email, at

All we need is a place to setup at your event and we will do all the work. This will give your guests an opportunity to purchase food on site and give our club a chance to raise funds and give back to the community.

High School Volunteer Hours Opportunity

Have a high school student looking for volunteer hours? The CLC will have opportunities for students to gain volunteer hours over the summer. Please contact us with your youth's name, age, contact information and availability.

The Cumberland Lions Club (CLC) seeks to serve where the need is the greatest and holds specific fundraising events throughout the year in support of the community. These include events such as Maplefest, Rock & Roll Night, Farmers' Market, Breakfast with Santa, Suppers, and Murder Mystery Nights. There are also many events which are not of a fundraising nature such as Remembrance Day, Canada Day and Charter Night. Periodically, the Club is called upon to assist with community events e.g. Winterfest.

The CLC manages the local tennis court located next to the R.J. Kennedy Arena on Dunning Road, in Cumberland, on behalf of the City of Ottawa. For further information checkout the Tennis Memberships page.

The Club also owns a hall which can be rented for various functions such as weddings, anniversarys, birthdays, family reunions, fundraisers and meetings.  For more information please check out the Maple Hall Rentals page.
