Cumberland Farmers' Market BBQs

Join the Cumberland Lions Club, every Saturday, at the Cumberland Farmers' Market (1115  Dunning Rd) for a fundraising BBQ. Our grill and volunteers will be ready to serve you as early as 8 am.  You can partake in great BBQ food, hot & cold drinks and support local farmers and vendors. The market is open until 1pm.

Starting Saturday September 4th we will be adding homemade chili to our BBQ menu at the Cumberland Farmers Market. Our regular favourites, hot dogs, hamburger, peemeal bacon on a bun and much more, will continue to be available. Tell all your friends and family and join us in supporting a great cause. We look forward to seeing you there!

Seeking Fundraising Opportunities

The Cumberland Lions Club (CLC) is looking for fundraising opportunities for the summer of 2021. If you have a local sporting tournament, event, market, festival, or other celebration and would like to have our club provide BBQ/food services please contact us, by email, at

All we need is a place to setup at your event and we will do all the work. This will give your guests an opportunity to purchase food on site and give our club a chance to raise funds and give back to the community.

High School Volunteer Hours Opportunity

Have a high school student looking for volunteer hours? The CLC will have opportunities for students to gain volunteer hours over the summer. Please contact us with your youth's name, age, contact information and availability.

The Cumberland Lions Club (CLC) seeks to serve where the need is the greatest and holds specific fundraising events throughout the year in support of the community. These include events such as Maplefest, Rock & Roll Night, Farmers' Market, Breakfast with Santa, Suppers, and Murder Mystery Nights. There are also many events which are not of a fundraising nature such as Remembrance Day, Canada Day and Charter Night. Periodically, the Club is called upon to assist with community events e.g. Winterfest.

The CLC manages the local tennis court located next to the R.J. Kennedy Arena on Dunning Road, in Cumberland, on behalf of the City of Ottawa. For further information checkout the Tennis Memberships page.

The Club also owns a hall which can be rented for various functions such as weddings, anniversarys, birthdays, family reunions, fundraisers and meetings.  For more information please check out the Maple Hall Rentals page.
